BACK AT WORK!!

WELL I AM OFFICIALLY BACK AT WORK, BOOHOO, THAT IS WHY IT HAS BEEN AWHILE SINCE I HAVE POSTED, MY TIME REALLY IS LIMITED NOW, I GET HOME AND MAKE SUPPER AND SPEND EVERY LAST MINUTE BEFORE BED WITH MY LITTLE JACOB. IT IS REALLY SAD BEING AWAY FROM HIM DURING THE DAY, I AM VERY FORTUNATE TO HAVE MY SISTER EMILY WATCHING HIM RIGHT NOW, HE SEEMS TO REALLY LIKE HER ALOT, SHE SAYS HE IS A VERY GOOD BOY AND THEY HAVE GOTTEN A ROUTINE DOWN SO THATS GOOD. MY WHOLE DESK IS DECORATED WITH PICTURES OF HIM I DON'T KNOW IF THAT MAKES IT HARDER OR EASIER. I AM HOPING THIS WORKS WITH EMILY FOR AWHILE CAUSE ONCE SHE IS DONE I DON'T KNOW WHAT I AM GOING TO DO, I MIGHT GO BACK TO WAITRESSING A COUPLE NIGHTS A WEEK AND STAY HOME WITH HIM DURING THE DAY, DAYCARE COSTS ARE JUST RIDICULOUS!! I WOULD BE COMING TO WORK TO PRETTY MUCH PAY FOR DAYCARE, I'M THINKING I SHOULD JUST START MY OWN FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS! WELL WHEN I FIND A SPARE MOMENT I WILL POST SOME PICTURES, HE IS JUST GROWING SO FAST, 3 MONTHS YESTERDAY, WOW!!!!

2 Month Check-up, Fun with Cousins!!

Well Jacob had his 2 month check-up last week and the dreaded shots- oh how sad but he was so brave, more brave than his mom, he got 6 shots, 3 they put into one and then he got 3 pokes and had to drink some stuff, the nurse said usually babies drool half of it out but Jacob slammed it down like it was a treat, anyways he cried with each poke and I just covered him in kisses and he would stop until the next poke, I was worried that he would be fussy and sore after but I never heard another peep out of him, so all that was well.On the other hand his measurements were:

Weight: 9lbs. 15.5 oz = 5 percentile- I was worried about that, but she said it was nothing to worry about another half ounce and he would have been in the 30th percentile, still small though.

Height: 22 3/4 " = 24th percentile

Head: 16" = 49th percentile

So pretty much he is tall, skinny with lots of smarts, which I see more of every day.

It has been a busy couple weeks, we had my friend Krista's bachlorette party on the weekend of the 11th, which was my first night without Jacob, I brought him with during the day(it was a weekend long event) and then the boys came down at about 7 and picked the kids up and then returned around 1 am to pick us up, it was a very nice get together they rented a house on the apple river and us girls just sat around playing games and singing karoke and all that good stuff, Krista gets married on November 8th- woo-hoo!!

And this past week was MEA so I had my sisters kids Gabe and Grace over one night(Marilyn was babysitting and then going to a movie) we went to the rocks in Taylors Falls and took some pics, and then came home ate pizza and played some very serious games of "Sorry" the game of sweet revenge... Grace is the best little mommas helper ever, and she loves it, a couple more years and she's got herself a job...

Here he is smiling, Gracie had him going pretty good, she was teasing his lips with his Nuk and making noises..she really is good with him, she is so confident when holding him and everything, I was amazed, we all had a good time. On a sad note I found out today I will be going back to work on November 3rd.. boohoo, it went to fast..but luckily my sister Emily will be taking care of him until I figure out what we are doing!

Jacob and his mommy at a wedding last Saturday, and him in his adorable button up shirt and cordoroy pants, he was so stinkin cute!

Jacob passed out after his big night out at Nate's wedding (Den's co-worker), We unbuttoned his shirt so he could let it all out, I eventually unbuttoned his pants for him too, he seemed to breathe a sigh of relief,(not that they were too tight or anything) we just like our comfy clothes!!

My cat Tupac is in the back round, he is wondering who the new lion is in Jacob's life, lol.. they do look rather similar!

And finally Jacob is saying HI to Grandma and Grandpa in Michigan and telling them "get home we miss you"!! If you notice in the backround were at your house.... Anyways..geez I am getting better at this blogging thing, a little more organized I think.. Jacob is doing fantastic I can't believe he will be two months old next week, it is going too fast, I won't ever be able to go back to work, we are trying to figure a way I can stay home with him, hey with all my friends having babies I should just start a daycare, you know my #...lol... I just can't imagine giving him to anybody else! Well many more pics to come, I am a pictureholic, I go through batteries like I never thought possible! Lots of Love!!

UPDATE!

Well I had my appt. to get my stitches out and I found out the results of my biopsy... It's not a cancer, as I was writing this I was saying it like Arnold Schwarzenegger, "It's not a tumor" so that was good to hear, she said it was a sore that went out of control to heal itself, like a grouping of cappillaries or something, she said either way I would of had to get it removed, so that was good, but sun next summer here I come, I was worried she would tell me I had to stay out of the sun, like my grandpa, but no I can still go in it but I definaltely will be a little more careful after that scare. Anyways back to my wonderful baby Jacob, he is great, getting bigger, I don't want him ever to grow up, I will post some adorable pics that I have later today maybe, Jacob is demanding my attention right now which is just fine with me, I think we will make a trip over to visit Auntie Emily and Uncle Andrew today, they always like when we stop in, hahahah, we think.

BABIES GALORE!!!

I am not sure why this picture came on here twice??

Well those of you who don't know I am the second among 5 of my friends to have had a baby or are expecting a baby. Last week we went to meet the latest one born- another boy by the way- so that is the 3rd boy. Emily with her boy John the oldest, Me and Jacob, Rachel and Colin, so we had to get a picture with the Moms and there baby boys and then one with the Dads with there boys, so cute! Lynn had her baby, the first girl, Ava, they were unfortunately not there for the picture, and then we still have Emmy who is due in November, so that picture will be really fun. It is just weird now all of us getting together and now we have babies, it is just so cool how it happened so close, our kids will grow up together like we did, to bad for them we will know all there tricks, they won't be able to pull nothing past us!! At least I hope!! Anyways heres the pics.

On a different note I had a appt. today I have had this sore type thing on my chest I thought was a pimple or something and it hasn't gone away so I was looking it up online last night and came across a skin cancer called Basal Cell Carcinomas and it had a picture of it and it looked just like what mine did, so I got worried and went to the doctor today and she did send me in to have some procedure done and the spot cut out, so it is being sent somewhere for testing, I guess thats what I get for my love of the sun and tanning beds, but I am hoping for the best! So I have never had stitches in my life and now I have gotten them twice in the last 6 weeks, I am not sure how many I got today but there is two layers of them, I am sure i will have a lovely scar! So I should find out next week sometime, I will keep everyone updated!

Sweet Baby Boy!!!

The title of this blog suits Jacob just perfect he is the sweetest baby boy ever, I find myself in the day not being able to put my camera down, everything he does I think I need to take a picture.. I don't know what I will do with all these, he will have quite the album, he thinks I am crazy momma already. We went to Walmart today and I spent a good 45 minutes in front of one of those picture things... you just put your card in out of your camera and you can do so many things, I did our birth announcement on there.. I know a little late but I finally got around to thinking about it and that I should probably do that..I've been busy..taking pictures and giving kisses!!! But anyways that nifty little machine is great, I told Jacob that this is our new hang out, I can find things to do on that thing with all these pictures I am taking, in an hour I had 30 announcements, 24 wallet size pics. and some random cuties, sooo easy and cheap, LOVE IT!! Anyways he is just great, he is definately smiling now, my Dad liked to tease me and say, he's not smiling, its just gas, but I kept telling him no he really is smiling at me, so yesterday we were over there and Jacob was laying on the floor looking at me and he started smiling away and my Dad was right there and he was like "oh my gosh, look at him smile and talk to you" SEE I told you he smiles, he then plopped himself on the floor in front of him and Jacob sat there and smiled away at his Grandpa, I think now he knows it isn't gas smiles, thanks Jacob for proving Grandpa wrong and mommy right!! Other than that his neck is getting stronger laying down on my tummy he now lifts his head and looks at me, still a little wobbly side to side but he can hold it pretty good, I can't wait until he can hold his head up and theres not so much worry with his neck and head! Oh he is getting so big so fast, heres some pics, the one I got of him smiling but it was just ended, wasn't quik enough with the camera!!

GROWING QUIKLY!

WELL THE TIME SURE IS FLYING BY, HARD TO BELIEVE LITTLE JACOB WILL ALREADY BE A MONTH TOMORROW. HE IS STILL A SUPER BABY, WE ARE VERY FORTUNATE! WELL HE MADE HIS FIRST TRIP TO THE STATE FAIR I THOUGHT WE WERE CRAZY TO TAKE HIM THERE SO YOUNG BUT HE SLEPT PRETTY MUCH THE WHOLE TIME AND WHEN HE WAS AWAKE HE WAS BRIGHT EYED AND CHECKING EVERYTHING OUT. RECENTLY HE HAS STARTED TO SMILE, NOT ALOT BUT DEFINATELY IT IS NOT THE USUAL GAS SMILES, HE WILL BE CHECKING OUT HIS MOM AND DAD AND WILL SMILE AND EVEN TALK A LITTLE, JUST A LITTLE KOO, BUT IT IS THE SWEETEST THING EVER. WELL ON MONDAY WE WENT OVER TO JACOB'S FRIEND JOHN'S HOUSE TO WATCH A LITTLE FOOTBALL, EMILY AND I WERE ABLE TO HANG OUT FOR AWHILE WHILE THE BOYS HUNG OUT WITH THERE SONS WATCHING SOME FOOTBALL IT WAS A FUN EVENING BESIDES WE LOST THE GAME! OTHER THAN THAT THINGS ARE WONDERFUL! I WILL POST MORE LATER, GOT TO GET READY FOR THE DAY, WE ARE GOING TO VISIT JACOB'S NEWEST FRIEND AVA, SHE WAS BORN ON SUNDAY, CONGRATULATIONS LYNN AND JAMIE! Well everything is fantastic, Jacob is sweeter than ever, I never knew you could love like this, it's an amazing feeling! He is a very good baby, we have been sleeping pretty good he just wakes up a couple times in the night and he really likes to snooze during the day which gives mommy a chance to nap! We went on our first adventure yesterday without Daddy, I was nervous but everything went great, we went to say goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa they left to Michigan, and I even did a Walmart trip, WOW! I now know I can do it so I won't be so nervous for the next adventure. Here are a few pics from the wedding and of course my Sweet Pea Jacob!!

you can see I really don't know what I am doing, nice random pics all over the place, I would try and fix it but Jacob is waking up! Mom needs practice, I will get it down, maybe someday!!

MY BABY HAS ARRIVED, HE WAS BORN ON MONDAY AUGUST 11TH AT 11:39 A.M. HE WAS 7 LBS. 10 OZ. AND 21 INCHES LONG, HE IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BABY EVER, WE ARE IN LOVE!! 11 DAYS AND COUNTING!

WELL I AM ALMOST THERE, 11 DAYS IF I GO ON MY DUE DATE, WHICH HOPEFULLY IT IS SOONER THAN THAT. I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE HIM FOR MY BROTHER ANDREWS WEDDING, BUT PLEASE BABY PLEASE DO NOT COME ON THE DAY OF THE WEDDING!! WELL WE CELEBRATED THIS WEEKEND WE HAD A BACHLORETTE PARTY FOR GRACE THE BRIDE TO BE, WE THREW A WONDERFUL PARTY WE HOSTED IT AT MY PARENTS OLD HOUSE WHICH IS ACTUALLY GRACE AND ANDREWS AFTER THE WEDDING, WE JUST DID THE LOCAL BARS, SO WE HAD PEOPLE OVER AND HAD FOOD AND DRINKS AT THE HOUSE BEFORE WE HEADED UP TO THE BARS, IT WAS A PERFECT NIGHT, GOOD GROUP OF GIRLS AND LOTS OF FUN. IT IS JUST GREAT THE COMBINING OF THESE TWO FAMILIES, GRACE IS MY BEST FRIEND EMILYS SISTER, I HAVE KNOWN HER FAMILY SINCE I WAS IN THE SIXTH GRADE, SO I LOVE ALL OF THEM!! I KNOW I HAVE BEEN SAYING THIS FOR AWHILE BUT I DO HAVE PICS FROM THIS EVENTFUL NIGHT AND WILL TRY TO POST, I CAN'T DO IT HERE AT WORK AND SEEM TO HAVE NO TIME WHEN I GET HOME FROM WORK, BUSY AND TIRED. DOCTOR UPDATE!

WELL AS YOU READ I HAD MY DOCTOR APPT. YESTERDAY TO SEE IF I WAS DILATED YET OR ANYTHING, WHICH UNFORTUNATELY I AM NOT!! HE HAS MOVED DOWN INTO THE PELVIC AREA, WHAT THEY CALL EFFACEMENT OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT, SO MY DOCTOR COULD FEEL HIS HEAD, SHE SAID THE CERVIX WAS THINNING BUT STILL PRETTY TOUGH SHE MENTIONED A FEW THINGS I OR WE COULD DO TO THIN THAT OUT BUT I WON'T MENTION THAT ON MY BLOG, hahaha! BUT DEFINALTELY WILL BE GIVING IT A TRY, I HAVEN'T REALLY MINDED BEING PREGNANT BUT NOW WITH THE HOT DAYS AND JUST THE ANXIOUSNESS TO MEET MY BABY I WANT HIM TO COME NOW! SO WE WILL SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT WEEK AT THE DOCTOR IF ANY OF HER TRICKS WORK. SO I WILL BE KEEPING YOU UPDATED! AND BRIDGET I PROMISE I WILL GET A BELLY PIC UP BEFORE ITS TOO LATE, I AM JUST A PUTZ WITH FIGURING OUT HOW TO GET PICS ON HERE OFF MY CAMERA, I NEED COMPUTER LESSONS, IF ANYONE HAS HELPFUL HINTS THAT WOULD BE GREAT! 4 WEEKS LEFT!!

TODAY IS THE BEGINNING OF MY ONE MONTH COUNTDOWN, I CAN'T BELIEVE IT HAS COME SO FAST, MY DOCTOR APPTS NOW WILL BE ONCE A WEEK AND I GO IN TODAY FOR MY 36 WK APPT. TO SEE IF I AM DILATED AT ALL, LETS HOPE THERE IS SOME PROGRESS THERE, I AM READY TO HAVE THIS BABY, I HAVE BEEN FEELING LIKE I AM GOING TO GO EARLY BUT I THINK EVERYONE THINKS THAT WITH THERE FIRST AND THEN THERE USUALLY LATE. I JUST HOPE HE DOESN'T COME ON MY SCHEDULED DUE DATE,
8-8-08 EVEN THOUGH IT IS A COOL DATE, FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON'T KNOW MY BROTHER IS GETTING MARRIED ON THE 9TH, AND YES I AM SUPPOSED TO BE IN IT, THAT WILL BE A PRETTY SIGHT EITHER WAY! MY WEEK OFF WAS EXCELLENT, I WILL HAVE PICTURES TO COME I PROMISE, JUST TAKES ME AWHILE TO FIGURE IT OUT. OTHERWISE JUST HANGING IN THERE, CAN'T WAIT TO MEET MY SWEET BABY BOY, HIS MOM AND DAD ARE WAITING PATIENTLY!!

WEEK OFF!!

I HAVE THIS WEEK OFF FROM WORK, I TOOK IT TO HAVE A RELAXING, GET THINGS DONE BEFORE THERE IS NO REST IN SIGHT WEEK, IT JUST SO HAPPENS THAT MY PARENTS ARE CLOSING ON THEIR NEW HOUSE ON POPLAR LAKE THIS WEEK, SO I GET TO ENJOY THE WEEK AT THE LAKE, IT IS IN DRESSER, WI. AND A BEAUTIFUL HOME ON MORE THAN A ACRE LOT WITH 190' OF LAKESHORE, AND THE COUPLE THEY BOUGHT THE HOUSE FROM LEFT THEM THEIR BIG DOCK, AND GET THIS THEY ARE LEAVING THEIR PONTOON FOR THE SUMMER AND THEY SAID WE COULD USE IT WHENEVER WE WANT. THEY HAVE TRULY BEEN GREAT TO MY PARENTS THEY ARE ALSO LEAVING THEM THEIR PADDLE BOAT AND SAIL BOAT, SO YOU KNOW WHERE TO FIND ME THIS WEEK, I WILL POST A PICTURE THIS WEEK WHEN I GET A GOOD ONE. I AM JUST SO HAPPY FOR THEM, THEY HAVE WANTED THIS FOR SO LONG!! THEY ALSO DIDN'T NEED TO WORRY ABOUT SELLING THEIR HOUSE, MY BROTHER ANDREW AND HIS SOON TO BE WIFE ARE BUYING IT FROM THEM, THINGS JUST WORKED OUT PERFECT!!! MY SON WILL BE A SPOILED LITTLE GRANDBABY!!

OKAY, PEOPLE HAVE BEEN TELLING ME I SHOULD START A BLOG FOR THE UPCOMING BIRTH OF MY BABY BOY, SO HERE GOES NOTHING, PLEASE HAVE PATIENCE WITH ME AS I LEARN TO BE A BLOGGER, I AM NOT THE MOST COMPUTER SAVVY PERSON OUT THERE, BUT I AM WILLING TO LEARN.
